On my way to the airport on Monday morning, I finally thought to check the weather forecast for Boulder--only to discover that we were due to get another big snowstorm right about the time my plane was due to land in Denver. The snow hit; I ended up staying over near the airport, barely an hour away from my house and yet as close to home as I was going to get before this morning.
As I left Mount Tremper, the river was running clear, and I was so buoyed up by this exceptional life that even the mud puddle at the bus stop was beautiful.
And the city: even when I only see it briefly, I say my litany: hello to you, and to you, and to you and you, and to them, and to those other two as well. Several of my people are tucked into their particular places in this image.
